Setting the pace and taking TQ in all 3 rounds of 2wdMod buggy was Kyosho/Orion’s team manger Joe Pillars. Having said his car “felt like a slot car on the track” and using a new setup developed by Jared Tebo, has dominated all rounds of qualifying and has put his Orion powered RB6 in the front of the grid. With the special “Invert” format for A2 and A3, this should shape up for an interesting triple A-main event.
Also TQ’ing 2 of 3 rounds in the modified truck class was once again Joe Pillars. Running a setup similar from the Cactus Classic with AKA Typo’s on all four corners, Pillar’s truck is looking dangerously fast and ready for the upcoming A-mains.
