JConcepts brings a new motor plate for the RB6, B4.2, and TLR’s 22 (also works with the truck variant as well). It has special kind of milling that is suppose to be stronger than the original factory motor plates. In the past, traditional lightened motor plates usually have long CNC work done to them, however this compromises upon their strength and durability. By only taking out material in honeycomb shaped spots, this leaves material behind that creates a spiderweb like structural support. It’s a great idea that doesn’t take a genius to figure out and that’s what I love about JConcepts. They improve upon things that actually is simple, yet makes a whole lot of sense. It’s their ability to pay close attention to detail that sets them apart from other manufacturers. This time, the entire fleet of cars gets this special treatment!
